I have washed and worn twice so far (washed on cool; dried once in the dryer on low, air dried the second time) and haven't had any issues with shrinkage or pilling. It feels true to size. I got my usual size and it's roomy without feeling truly oversized. Could likely go down a size for a more fitted look. My only complaint is that I wish it had a pocket!
