I have to admit, I didn’t purchase this adorable skirt to workout in, though the fact that there are shorts attached does make it possible to wear it biking so we shall see where it might take me. I did buy it because I love the sporty look of it, the cheerleader vibe of the skirt with the varsity top, the beautiful shade of blue, and that it conceals my dreadful apron belly. It was a last minute try on after I had already put my clothes back on so the odd lump on one side in the picture is my (way too big and belted) denim shorts that are under it. The fabric is akin to swimsuit fabric but it’s comfortable and doesn’t bother me a bit. I’m 5’5 and it comes to right above my knees so not too short and not too long, at least for my taste. For an idea of sizing, again I’m 5’5, around 245 lbs in the picture, apron belly, and this is a size 2. I don’t review every piece I buy but I feel like the ones I really love, and/or the ones I really hate and don’t end up purchasing or keeping, deserve a shout out. This is one of my favorites and seeing that it’s now almost completely sold out, I imagine it’s a favorite of many. I went back and forth on whether to get the black one too but decided against it just because I already have so many pieces in black. If other colors are ever released though, I would be thrilled to add them to my closet. If you can grab one before they’re all gone, do it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pleated skirt! I was on the fence about ordering this skirt but I love it! It’s the perfect length, doesn’t hike up in the back, and has shorts underneath. I bought the matching top (consider sizing up if you’re busty) and I feel so posh and comfy in this fit. Had to buy it in blue too!

I need several cute activewear sets and I'm most comfortable in a skort or an athletic dress. I purchased both pieces (top and skirt) in a size 3. The bra has zero support for me, personally, but I expected that. I have heavy, dense breast tissue and am a 46 DDD/F, so was prepared with a basic white cotton bra to wear underneath. I do THIS for the support portion, but it's not cute. It's utilitarian and I wanted cute AND functional lol Regardless, this set washed beautifully, I have been hiking, played pickleball, done general workouts and even did some ballet in the woods in it lol I love it. I literally just ordered the black set and can't wait until it gets here. I truly hope this set is brought back in additional colors. I'll definitely purchase more!!!

I love the built in shorts underneath and the feel of the material. If you’re on the fence I would say to try it. I hope Torrid makes in more colors! Purchased in my normal pants size and I like the fit.
