It's perfect to layer under a skirt or dress for a little extra coverage and is perfect for an hourglass shape, which I have. It sits a little lower on my waist as my waist is small compared to my hip size, but still looks great. And it's nice to have the attached garters to hold up your thigh-highs! Definitely worth purchasing and I'm glad I did. For reference I am 5'3", a size 8 and I bought a 00.
