Not tight at all. I could even have done a 00. Thanks, Torrid, for the cuteness and OMG 100% cotton...are you kidding me? The strawberries on the sweater I received are sewn on securely -- didn't have the issues the other reviewer did. This is such a quality piece. Definitely not putting this one in the dryer.
