Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color surprised me! LOVE! 240 lbs 5'8" pear shape (i guess) tops size 0-2, bottoms size 14 & 1-2, bra 40c-42d. I'm these pics I'm wearing the pink heather high apex bra item#43251089 40c. Love!! Ok so I have this dress in all 3 colors. This color in the pics is not a color I would normally buy but I loved the other 2 so much I went ahead and bought this one. SHOCKED at how pretty it is in person! I'm trying to get away from wearing nearly all black clothes my entire life and venturing out to lighter colors. So I'm glad this was the only color left in my size lol. I LOVE this dress. (Oh don't mind the lop sided dress I wore all day like this lol my straps were on different button lengths). Straps are adjustable by buttons, LOVE this detail. Only thing missing is pockets so I wear pocket leggings under my dresses. TIP: when leggings with pockets are on a good sale I'll buy ANY color pretty or not lol and chop them to shorts to wear under my dresses ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Initially I got the pink/palm print during a deep sale; was surprised by how excellent it was so I came back for the shell print. The cut/shape of this one is somewhat subtle but very flattering and the strap shape and width is fantastic. I love the length and the flutter around the bottom edge. It's just a super comfortable and all-around easy summer wear. I fluctuate between a 5 and 6 for dresses and I went with the 6 in this one. There are actually slight sizing differences between the two patterns which I don't love, but it's not a real big deal. In general I found them both to run just a tiny bit small relative to the standard mini dress Torrid sizes. My only minor quibble (which I knew going in) is the lack of pockets. Otherwise - cute, flirty, cool, comfortable, and wearing them on repeat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beachy Palm I really loved the dress, specifically the beachy palm pattern paired with the soft pink, when I first saw it in my local Torrid store, but sadly it was so popular that my size sold out instantly. Luckily it was still there on line and I was able to take advantage of the Torrid cash as well. I'm like 5 ft. nothing and depending on the style, cut, and fabric I usually wear between a size 1 or 2. Because the dress is that challis material and I own a few similar to this, I decided on the size 1. Overall it fits well, I do feel it on my torso under my chest, but I can sit comfortably with no real pulling or tugging and it hits right at my knee in bear feet. I probably could've gotten away with a size 2, but I have a small chest (40/42B) and was worried that the top and straps would be falling off my shoulders. Even though the challis material doesn't have any extra stretch to it, I find that it eventually stretches out to fit the body after wearing it a few times. I absolutely love the straps and that they are adjustable with a button on the back and that it gives you 3 lengths to choose from if you have a shorter or longer torso and to compensate a little for a larger chest. I actually crisscrossed the straps on the loosed button hole and it looks great, but I do wish the straps were a tad longer since I can feel it slightly in the arm holes, but it's not enough to deter me from wearing it like that. I also appreciate that the straps are wider than some of the other Torrid dresses so you can have the option of a bra with straps and not always having to wear a strapless one. I love how versatile the dress and I'm debating on ordering the other 2. I just wish it had pockets since a lot of Torrid dresses have them now, but it just gives me an excuse to pair a cute purse with it. Really great option for a vacation outfit as well.

My body size is different from 4 years ago and I thought to go to Torrid and I am glad I did. The material is nice and even though it is a tank top style dress, it feels modest and not too revealing around my breast’s which are larger now from breastfeeding and weight gain. I love the shell pattern that I chose and received as a delivery to my apartment. It is comfortable for summer and soft and an easy to wear material and garment design. The shell pattern might make you feel more closed off but I do love shells so that was not the case for me personally. I would buy this in another colourway. I weigh near 185 pounds in the 180 range and I am 5’4”. My bra size is changing but around a 34G or 36G.
