I also not only lounge in them but have dressed this up also with the cami that matches and a black kimono with sandles. The red is beautiful!

I really love that when torrid makes velvet pants they make the inside of the pockets velvet as well. Not sure how they managed to improve pants with good pockets, but they did.

I will say I'm 5'11 and they are slightly short if I wear across my belly button which is where I normally wear pants. Wearing these below the belly on the hip waist line the length is fine. I wouldn't put in the dryer cause the length could shrink. Fabric is soft on the outside. Inside isn't itchy which is a plus. I love them!!!
