Cute loafers!
Got the taupe color! This is the happiest I’ve ever been with a closed toe flat. The reviews can be confusing some say they run small & some say big.. I wear a size 10 and have a pretty wide foot. Got a 10 as I felt like I recalled torrid shoes running a touch big. They are a tad big, but not big enough for my wide dogs to slip out when walking. I will be wearing with dress socks! I’d say true to size for wide feet or anyone with swelling issues. Otherwise size down a 1/2. I would be purchasing more but they are sold out for me. Definitely worth trying and return if need be.

Classy Gets it Done!
Very happy with this pair of shoes. Simple yet class with the faux velvet material. Glad there was a choice of color with a very small heel. I did order both basic black along with burgundy. The fit is good, I wear a 9--1/2 W so ordered same size The shoes are just a slight bit , not much, long, enough that when my feet swell they will still be comfy. The insoles is cushioned. These shoes will be good for party, a holiday gathering , possibly the office too. I do see them wearing for a complete season. I would avoid slush , rain, snow when possible! The top of the loafer along with reasonable cost I can & will check for a jewel style decor to affix on top of more dress up needed.

Size down 1/2 size
Bought these in the burgundy color and they look gorgeous on my feet. Perfect with a pair of jeans! Bought a size 10 and had to resize to a 9.5. I have a wide toe box but a narrow ankle and the 10 fit a little bit too big (they slid up and down on my ankle even with socks on). I need all the colors!

Runs short
I usually have no problems taking a 12 WW in TORRID shoes, but these one ran short so that my big toes are right up against the top. They are definitely wide enough just very short in the length. The soles are very smooth and thus slippery. Other than that, it’s a good shoe. Nice velvet.

Too wide
I wish torrid had an option for regular width feet/halves. I normally wear a 12 and have to 0.5 size down in torrid because they run large. I went off the reviews to go to my normal size and that was not good for me. I was walking out of the shoes and had way too much room on the sides. They are cute though.

I checked the size of the other loafers I had gotten from Torrid and they are a size 8. I ordered a size 8 in these loafers in all 3 colors. They are too small. So I reordered them all in a size 81/2 and they fit much better. The sales associate said maybe these are cut different than the other loafers I have. The only issue I have is the Taupe pair was a lot lighter color in the size 8 than the 81/2. The 8's actually looked Taupe where as the 81/2's looked gray. I ordered them again and they still look kind of gray, nothing like the color on the size 8, but I am getting tired of reordering them.
