Just enough snazz and not overpowering. True to size. Fabric feels a bit cheap - but it looks fine. Would love this in more colors too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful purple velvet I bought this top in the purple color and I love it! The v-neck is not super low cut, and the sleeves are a comfortable length, especially if you do not want to show too much upper arm. Very comfortable and machine washable.

The sleeves are a flattering length and drape and the bottom hits right at the bottom of my tummy to hide that area well. It's going to look fantastic with black pants or black jeans! Living in Florida, I love that it has short sleeves. I sized up one size because I always do that for velvet or velour.

I purchased other velvet items from Torrid this season, all were soft, luxurious and felt great to wear, this shirt was not made with the same quality of fabrics as other velvet items. It is itchy, not soft to the touch and really light (thin fabric). Possible a cami would solve the itchy factor but disappointed with this item. Will be returning it. Not worth the price.
