Just like some other reviewers mentioned, it is warmer and heavier than I'd expected - which was a pleasant surprise. It has a stretch panel in the underarm area that will be good for people needing a little more arm room or who like to wear layers in the winter like me. The only thing disappointing was that mine arrived with a quarter-sized hole in one of the outer seams. It was final sale, no returns which is not a big deal - I can easily stitch the hole. I'm 5'2" and normally between a Torrid 2 or 3. I sized up and got a 4, it isn't as fitted as the model, but I wanted room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice coat I have this coat and love it. I did order another style but it was never received. I emailed customer service and they were supposed to see my the houndstooth coat but instead, I receved a 2nd black coat. I guess I have to find a store to return it.

I went with a 2 for the coat to have plenty of room to wear dresses and sweaters underneath. I could have stuck with a 1, but am pleased with how the 2 fits.

I love this coat it’s a bit heavy but lots of cool touches from pockets to buttons and sleeves are cool with stretchy material on underside so it feels like she’s giving a nice hug… looks like it was ordered custom to fit !!! I need another one in different color next year !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Military Coat I absolutely love this coat! It's exactly what I wanted! It's a rich black color, very warm and heavy. I switched the black buttons out for gold buttons, which really made it military. The fit is awesome. I'm so glad that I bought it. I'll be wearing it for years to come! I bought a Sz 18-20.
