(I could easily have gotten a 4 and had room for layers. I'm bigger in the belly and booty, smallish on the top half and this covers wonderflully. It's very warm and I love the simple tie front to close.

The check print on the jacket pops with the black undertone. I love the way that it flares at the bottom every time you move the bottom will swing around. The belt makes the entire coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I have had this coat for just under a month. So warm, so soft, so comfortable. Just a great coat. The only thing I will it had was at least one button. The tie is enough to keep the coat closed but a button would truly elevate it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this I like the style of the coat, kinda classic / timeless. I even like that it is open in the front. (No buttons or zipper - only the sash). I feel like the arms were unnecessaily big and low on the coat, but it is something I can live with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Structured Stiff So I bought this coat, for the California (Fall/Winter) vibes, without having to commit to a plaid flannel. Indoing so, it is successful, since its nice for pairing with dresses, and pants. It keeps me warm, with the heavy wool -for outer fabric. Plus being lined with a nice silky polyester -for lining- to avoid being scratchy, it doesn't lose its warmth. It also has some (large/deep) pockets, the belt is detachable, there is no hood, it has a nice lapel, as a 5'3" person it reaches past my knees, by a good one to two inches. I will say, I wished I had sized up one, since my arms are pretty big and flabby, and I don't have much room (if any) for layering a (sweater/long sleeve T-shirt) underneath. So thats a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker, or the clothing items fault.
