Where can I find information about #TeamTorrid INSIDERS Virtual Casting Call?

What look are you looking for?
Women who love working for Torrid and love the style & fit of Torrid clothing. You will be modeling our Spring ‘22 campaign, so you must wear sizes 10-30.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, you must be 18 and over.
Who is eligible?
Employees who identify as female may apply.
Can professional models apply?
Only those not represented by a professional modeling agency as of the date of entry will be considered.
Will there be live casting call events?
No, this casting call is all virtual.
When will the 30 Semifinalists be announced?
We will announce the 30 Semifinalists on September 23rd at Torrid.com/team-torrid-insiders/
How will the 30 Semifinalists be chosen?
An internal panel will select 30 Semifinalists based on application, the one-minute video answering Torrid’s questions, photographs, and will judge using the following criteria in equal measure: embodies Torrid’s core values, your Torrid story, passion for great style and fit and photogenic qualities.
How will the Top Ten Winners be chosen?
A panel of judges that will include representatives from HQ, OHDC, Stores, and an outside, independent panelist, will select our Top Ten winners based on the criteria described above.
When will the Top Ten Winners be announced?
We will announce the Top Ten Winners online October 7th at Torrid.com/team-torrid-insiders
What do I get if I am one of the Top Ten Winners?
Top Ten Winners will join #TeamTorrid and win an all-expense-paid trip to Los Angeles to be part of Torrid’s Spring ‘22 campaign photoshoot, tentatively scheduled for the week of November 1, 2021.
Will I get paid?
No, your participation is voluntary. Therefore, if you choose to participate you will need to complete and submit your application on your own time not when you are working.
Note: if any of the Top Ten Winners are hourly associates they will be paid for their travel time as per SOP #5230 Travel Time Pay - Hourly Associates. All Top Ten Winners will be paid for their participation time during the campaign shoot week and will receive a brief with additional details.
I’d love to nominate my colleague. Can I do that?
While you may not fill out an application for another person, we encourage you to share the Torrid.com/team-torrid-insiders application with your colleague.
I live in Puerto Rico, can I apply?
Yes! Employees working and living in the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada (except Quebec) may apply.
I live in another country, can I apply?
Only applicants living in the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada (except Quebec) may apply.
Can a Torrid employee’s family member or friends apply?
No, this is just for our incredible employees.
I just started at Torrid, can I apply?
You must be an employee in good standing who has been employed at Torrid for at least 6 months to enter.
Do I need professional photographs to apply?
No, just the 5 clear photos mentioned in the application process and a one-minute video of yourself. We will not accept professional photographs.
What happens to my photos and video that I upload with the application?
All photos and videos that you upload to Torrid.com/TeamTorrid become the property of Torrid LLC. The 30 Semifinalists’ photos and videos may be shared on Torrid’s social channels, internal and external communications.
Do I have to wear Torrid in my photographs or video?
Yes, please wear your favorite Torrid styles!
