What do you do at Torrid? I am a store manager and every single day i get the opportunity to help customers just became the best versions of themselves. And i just get to spend time with them, helping them find that perfect fit that makes them feel like they can do anything. They can just take on the world. And it's so empowering for everybody. How has your home store been supporting you during this #TeamTorrid experience? My staff are the cutest, just the most supportive, greatest people I could ever meet. And i'm so thankful that they are part of my team. They're holding it down. They're chekcing in, they're sending me text messages.. Everybody's just been like pumping me up. it's dope. Can you tell me how you discovered Torrid? One of my good friends works for the company at my partner sotre at West Edmonton mall location. And she was like, come in and get some really cute thigs for your holidy. You're going to look great. And then I went in, had a huge shopping spree, was treated like an absolute queen and then I fell in love. And when the opportunity came up for me to take the leap of faith and start a new career, I never looked back. And i'm still thankful for these last three years. What's something fun you do when you're not working? I collect pokemon cards with my husband LOL. Started during COVID while I was recovering from an injury now it's our thing. What advice would you give to someone who's learnign to love their body? Dive into what fits your body and understand that bodies are just bodies. It doesn't matter what you look like. It's how you feel. So if you feel greate, you're going to do great things. What do you do at Torrid? What does bing unstoppable mean to you? I have always been a person that's very driven, goal oriented. I'm mindful of my success. And I just feel like unstoppability means that you can just do anything. If you put your mind to it and you put in all the work, you will be unstoppable. What's been the highlight of this experience? Just realizing that I am actually quite beautiful. Having that profound moment where I get to see the pictures... having that kind of aha moment and just getting to actually feel extremely beautiful when I don't feel like the most of the time. What are you going to take with you from all of this? Besides all the free clothies? ... I feel like I'm about to cry .. I just fee alittle bit more empowered. Just having the ability to really be my true self and have people very much accept that that's how I am. ANd I've been able to make everybody laugh on set. I think that that's really important. How has having clothes taht fit your body impacted your life? I'm a very active person. I like to stay healthy, make sure that I move my body. And one of the biggest things for me is I love doing yoga... Hot yoga, it's for everyone. Give it a try. It's very, nerve-wracking when you walk in, because most ofthe people are not my size. So having the right active wear, the right sports bra, the right bottoms, that fit and still allow you to move freely and hit all those poses is so amazing.
