Love the fit!
I love these jeans! they fit great and have good stretch to them which i love. I am 5'6" and they go to my ankle. I'm between a 20 and 22 and was able to get these in a 20 :)

Perfectly broken in!
I bought these after I tried a pair of my friend's on. So comfortable and easy to dress up or down. My go to jeans!

Awesome
I bought these a few days ago in store. They are super comfy because they are stretchy.

These are great jeans
I bought these when they first came out as a new arrival on the Torrid Site. I love them but after wearing them for awhile they stretch out. It's not alot but it's enough where I have to wear a belt or I get a saggy butt look. I want to purchase these again but in a 14 so that way when they stretch I will still have a good fit. The salesgirl told me she has them and had to size down a size also because of the same stretching issue. I would highly recommend them but if you like a fitted jean you may want to size down. lilqueenzmum :)

Not bad, but not perfect.
I am a pear shape. I have hips and butt and plenty of lower belly to love. With that being said, these jeans fit perfectly around my hips and rear but were too large around the middle. I curve inwards above my hips and these jeans left me with the dreaded back gap.
It should also be noted that, despite being pear shape, where these jeans sit, a little below my belly button, when I sit, they get sucked into a roll. They are not long enough to "pull over" the muffin like others. So, if you have any kind of roll to your tummy when you sit, these will likely end up with a bent-in-half belt line when you stand, no matter how much tugging and jerking you do.
The fit of these jeans in the legs is perfection though. I am short, 5'1", and I love that I could adjust these to fall at the right length for me. I am a pear shape, so I have some luscious legs and, despite being lighter in color, these jeans slimmed them some.
Now, unless you have a flat tummy like the model or the confidence of a god, you probably won't want to wear these jeans with a shirt tucked in. When standing, the jeans will look fine, but when you walk, they will pull in between the belly and thighs, giving you a roll you don't want to own.
Additionally, there are some "tears" on these pants that will literally tear apart. Some points have patches behind them, but others are simply the threads running horizontally. Note that no matter what you do, these threads will inevitably break and show off little bits of your legs. (Make sure you shave!) This doesn't take away from the style of the jeans I feel because they are designed to be a bit rugged, but just be aware that they will not look like they do when they arrive for long.
Overall, they are a great style I love to wear, but I have to be careful what tops I layer because of my shape and the waist band gap issue. The slimming of the legs, ability to adjust the length, and unending ways to dress these up or down makes me like them nonetheless though.

Not for Short People
First off, these jeans are NOT for short people. I'm 4' 10" and even if the jeans I buy are tagged for short people I still have to hem them. Since these jeans are cuffed I had to roll the cuffs three more times so that they'd fit me properly. Now that I have them at the proper leg length I feel they are too short for my calves. Second, there are three patches on the inside of the legs covering the holes; one of these patches (the larger of them) is sewn to the jeans around the middle while the other two are ironed on with very little and cheap adhesive. Those patches fell off after just one washing. The edges of the patch that is sewn on to the pants isn't attached to the pants and the edges rolled up (also after one washing.) Given that these are form fitting jeans it can be very uncomfortable to feel the rolled edges of that patch pressing against my leg and the jeans. Third, I recommend that anybody who buys these tack the cuffs otherwise you'll have to re-roll the cuffs every time you wash them.

Great fit, but patches behind holes fell off!
I love love love the fit of these jeans. They are so incredibly comfortable, however, they fell apart the first time I washed them! There are fabric patches behind some of the holes which seem to be ironed/glued on and those fell off during the first wash/dry of the jeans. One of the patches that fell off was the one positioned behind the hole that is high on the thigh. This was my first purchase of torrid jeans and if this is the quality, I'm not sure I will be a repeat customer.

Not for 'apples'!
I carry my weight in my midsection, so am often skeptical of Torrid jeans, but loved the look of these jeans last summer when they were a new arrival.
I love how they look at first, but when I put them on and go about my day... I can't wait to take them off ASAP. They are baggy in the leg and butt after a bit of wear... yet still uncomfortably tight in the waist. They're just very unflattering to those who wear a straight fit (or are apple shaped).
I've also put my toe through one of the decorative patches... now I just have a gaping hole in my thigh! So be careful when you put them on!
