It does run small.
Even though I had to size up to a 2 it's adorable. It does show my belly but I'm okay with that. With a short fitted cardigan it's perfect! I added tights and knee boots, it's super cute!

I wanted to love this
This runs small, looks like pajamas and just isn’t flattering. No stretch. I sized up from a 1 to a 2 and still look ridiculous. But I do love the pattern so had high hopes. Maybe with boots and a denim jacket/cardigan it might be doable, but too much effort for me.

Small & Plastic-y
I tend to love 99% of the things I order from Torrid, but this one was a real fail. It runs small, grips my belly, and it has the feel of… cheap polyester Barbie clothes. It’s a summer dress, obviously, but wearing this in the heat would make me feel like I was wrapped in cellophane. I’m keeping it because I’m lazy and losing weight. I’ll turn it into a costume or something.
