Absolutely beautiful dress, perfect length, a little skimpy in the chest though. It's perfect for a warm summer day, but may not be appropriate for church or family functions. So comfortable too.

Pretty Summer Dress
I purchased this in a size 2 my usual size and it was too big in the top area. It gapped around the top by my underarm and looked weird. I was going to return it and be done with it. But while at the store I tried on the size 1 and liked the fit so decided to exchange. I gave it 4 stars because it did not have pockets that is one of my favorite things about Torrid dresses is that they have POCKETS!!!!

The silhouette is strange
I purchased this on a good deal. It is a lovely pattern.
I am finding that I'm not a fan of the type of silhouette, however.
These types of silhouettes tend to look more like a muumuu and are not flattering. I did add a shirt cinch to the back which gave me a shape.
I do like that the slip underneath goes passed my hips and stretchy enough to fit and not be uncomfortable. A slip should at least go to the knee.
I tend to be smaller on top so I adjusted the straps to fit tighter. I suggest doing this once the item is on. Made it difficult to put on and off.
Unfortunately it is a lot of fabric and in this adds weight, heat and heaviness to the dress.
