Size up for a natural fit
I'm a size 1 or a 2 if a tightly fitted style. I ordered this in a 4. Once washed and dried it shrinks A LOT. Buying it oversized makes it comfortably once washed, however the sleeves are still short closer to a 3/4 sleeve. I bought it in pink and the burnt orange/brown, both are wonderful colors! It is still short but that's why I bought it oversized so it would fit more naturally. Soft thick cotton feel once washed. Wished the length of the sleeves didn't shrink so much, otherwise I'm willing to buy big to get the length and relaxed look I'm going for. They're my go to colors

Cute sweater
Absolutely love this sweater in pink with the matching Foxy cami. Sweater is just a little shorter than I am used to but cami I long so it worked out perfect.

Gorgeous color
I purchased this in the purple shade and it’s gorgeous! However, like many others have stated, it’s shorter than pictured. I don’t mind that since I prefer cropped sweaters, cardigans, jackets, etc. anyway. The only issue I have is that the material looks soft it he pictures but is a bit course/stiff. Maybe it will soften after washing. The sleeves and top are looser than the waist area. Every body is different, so I’m not sure if that’s just on me or if it’s because my actual sweater is cut differently (length) than the ones pictured. I will be keeping it but will not be purchasing other colors as I previously planned to do.

Different materials
I purchased the black in size 1. It’s just like the pic, it’s awesome. I purchased the green and it’s made differently. The pattern of the weave is smaller, the arms are 3/4 vs full length, and it’s cut more boxy vs drapey. Returning the green, keeping the black.

This would be a 4 or even 5 if it weren’t for the length being shorter than specified and shown both in text and photos. Beautiful color and texture, perfect for layering over colorful patterns but it’s super disappointing that the length is so off it feels like false advertising. I’m not alone in this either but wanted to add a review to warn anyone looking at this. It’s not cropped but it’s definitely an awkwardly short length. Sleeves are a little shorter than I like, too but I could live with that if the torso length matched the pictures and written description. Do better, Torrid. Your online return policy sucks as it is - misrepresenting products puts a sour taste in our mouths.

I'm on the fence about keeping it. As other reviewers pointed out, the length is far, far shorter than any/all of the pictures demonstrate. I ordered a 5 in the green color, and that is nearly always a good fit for over/outer wear, especially relaxed pieces. However, the fit on this one is just...odd. It's not short enough to be a true crop/shrug style, but in no way does it fall past the waist as in the photos. Further, I didn't notice from the pictures that the drop shoulder/underarm fit is almost more of a cocoon/dolman style (which I'm not a big fan of in the first place). If I raise my arms even modestly, the whole midsection of the cardigan weirdly go up with it. On the positive side, the material feels great - really silky and comfortable. Hard to say for sure but it looks like a piece that with gentle care, would hold up well and colorwise, it's such a lovely dreamy, rich sage tone. I'm going to try it on with a few other outfit combinations before making a final decision.

Why change from
short
Length not even close to the photo with the tall model and I'm short, like 5'4". I ordered a 0 and a 1 because of the continuing sizing problems and will keep the larger one for that reason. What is the problem Torrid? I am just about done with this sizing issue as I'm 2 hours away from a store to do returns and shipping is $17 for Canadians.

Nice, but a bit short
Ugggggh. I'm so tired of the length in the description not matching the product. When I purchased, this cardigan was listed as 26" long. I ordered it in a size 1 and it's actually 22" long. I got the olive and the color is going to go well into spring since it should look good with a lot of pastel tops. The weight is medium due to the open weave, which also will be nice for spring. It would be a good third piece if I weren't nearly six feet tall and not into the cropped look. Just... Is it so hard to be accurate in your descriptions, Torrid? Unfortunately my local torrid closed, so I now get to decide if it's worth the hassle of retuning.
