The fabric is comfortable, it's pretty and it feels so nice to wear. I'm thinking of getting one size down as well because it 18 does show off a little more cleavage than I normally do - but that's just me rather than an issue with the dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Dress Bought this dress for office Christmas party, LOVE the fit( bought my normal 14) The skirt flows wonderfully with the tulle under it. The only problem I have is to find more places to wear it to. Great slenderizing effect with the way it's patterned.

While it could use a little tailoring to lift at the shoulder to keep from showing TOO much cleavage, it fits me perfectly otherwise. Got so many compliments, I can’t wait to find another place to wear it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Dress! This dress is beautiful and very flattering! The black panel camouflages the midsection and draws the eye upward. While it is longer that the typical mini, I love the length and I am only 5'2". I can't wait to wear this to my office holiday party!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, fits pretty good. I'm not sure why all these reviews are saying it's 2-3 sizes too big. I am a 22 in dresses in Torrid, which is the size I got in this. I am 42dd and 22 or 2 in pants. Yes, it is a big loose, but if I would've went down a size it would be pretty tight. So I guess it comes down to, how tight or loose do you like your dresses? If you like them tighter then I'd say go down a size, if you prefer them a bit loose, then keep your normal size. There is a lot of fabric, with tulle underneath. This is what I think makes it comes off seeming so much bigger. It is pretty low cut though, heads up. Also I've seen it mentioned it's very long. I'm 5'6 and it hits halfway between my knee and ankle. Beyond all this technical stuff, I love it. I think it is gorgeous. The fabric is very soft too.

They have all been boxy, too much fabric, extra long etc. This one I ordered in my usual 16 and also a 14. I am a 16 edging to 18 on ALL Torrid clothes for YEARS but this dress is still slightly big on me at a 14. I'm going to see about having it altered. Do realize that the model is almost six feet tall so it is going to hang SIGNIFICANTLY longer on you if you're average height. I wish Torrid would go back to whomever was manufacturing their Retro Chic collection before. The quality now isn't nearly what it used to be and the sizing is a complete crapshoot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too big and badly done tulle ruins cute dress This dress is adorable on the model. I vary between a 4 and a 5 because of my bust measurement, but I ordered the 4 in this. I wear a 44P bra most of the time so my bust measurement is actually in the size 6 zone- this matters because I was able to slide the dress on over my head without unzipping it. It is far too loose under the bust. The tulle lays so awkwardly and does not move well with me. I tried belting the dress and it helped a little, but the tulle on my dress is just so poorly done that I have to return the dress. *I probably could have sized down one size, people with more average bust measurements could probably size down two.
