I really wasn't too sure about this dress, but I was intrigued by the whole 1 shoulder style. Not something I have in my closet, and the print is just adorable, so I wanted to go ahead and buy rather than it sell out and me regret not try it. This is incredibly cute on, but oh my gosh, I agree with the other review about the zipper, and would actually had returned the dress had it not been for me being able to slip it on over my head fastened. Aside from the minor functionality issues ( Not necessarily flaws, because I really don't know how else you'd go about putting a zipper in something like this) , this is an adorable dress, and one may very well be able to buy a size up and have the zipper moved. As far as overall size I wear a 1 in almost everything Torrid, and can occasionally size down to a 0 for tops and super stretchy stuff. I bought a 14 and it fits wonderfully once on except for the bust. Teensy bit big. ( usual for us pears ), so I will likely be pinning the open side just in case. Overall recommend trying.

Beautiful but bad zipper placement!
This dress is drop dead gorgeous and fits like a dream. It may run big, but I can't really say having dropped 17lbs, so for me at 228lbs, and being a 44C the 18 was the perfect size for me. If I could actually get it zipped up! So ladies if you live alone, tough luck trying to get this on unless you got a friend to help you. The fabric is a bit stretchy so there wasn't an issue with it being too small, the fabric isn't stiff, it is floppy so it was a struggle to do with one hand. However that isn't something that is a deal breaker, just makes me frustrated because I do want to wear it and can't until I get someone to help. Really wish the zipper was at the back! Otherwise this dress is a dream. It IS super sheer to the point I could read the logo on my bright orange undies, so you may need a slip skirt or shorts underneath to keep people from seeing your underwear. But this IS a gorgeous dress and should not be passed up! Just have a friend handy to zip you up if you aren't as flexible!
